First mix under the new moniker O N E S U N. It's my latest music project and first time coming out as a producer - working on kind of an updated retro sound with new wave, techno, disco, and hiphop influences. Future mixes under the project will share similar elements, vibe, and/or production. This one is purely for the vibe, no bells or whistles. Next mix is all about the production, coming soon...

ORIGINAL MUSIC: O N E S U N “Better in the Morning” EP – New Tracks by yours truly

I just started a new music project called O N E S U N. The idea is to take retro sounds from the 80s, early 90s, and even some 70s and put them in a more contemporary context. For example, take some classic synths, 808s, acid basslines, etc, with glitched out hiphop beats, FX, singing styles, song structures, etc. Genres such as new wave, synthpop, techno, rave, disco, funk, hiphop, dancehall, breaks, shoegaze, chillwave... whatever you want to call it - I call it music.

Oh, and yes I'm singing on these songs. I know I have zero range and it's all effects, but I'm channeling some spirits from the good old new wave days.

So give these tracks a listen and if you like what you hear, please send me some feedback and spread the love - music is meant to be shared! Especially now that you can download just about anything for free.
